More than just a print store
Hey, my name's Nick Sterkenburg, I'm the photographer and founder of Soleil Story.
Soleil means "sun" in French and I started this store as an opportunity to share some of my all-time favourite images and the stories that go with them as well.
I've tried to capture the story of each image in a field note film. This film gives you an insight and a behind-the-scenes look at what I think really makes that particular image meaningful and interesting.
For a little bit about me, I have been a professional photographer for approaching 10 years. My client work focuses on the lifestyle, commercial and documentary image making.
Outside of photography, I love to spend my free time surfing, trying, mostly failing, to be a calisthenics athlete and hanging out with my wife Hanna, our son Finn and our dogs Willow and Aspen.
